Yes - our mission is to encourage reuse and refill to end the single-use plastic crisis, so of course you can reuse your own bottles! Two things to note though:

1. The hand wash bottle needs to be a foaming dispenser. It has a foam pump with wider neck and air chamber that creates the thick foam! Otherwise, we'll likely have an unhappy customer and that's the last thing we want!

2. Be mindful of the water level used to ensure the same efficacy! Each foaming hand wash refill sachet has been formulated to work best with 300ml of water; our multi-purpose cleaner works best with 500ml of water.

Tabs: Our products are developed and tested in Sydney. We spent 6 months trying to find a tablet manufacturer locally but fell short as it's an innovative product format and our order volume isn't huge enough to invest in new machineries or set up a manufacturing facility. We eventually partnered up with a Taiwanese manufacturer who can ethically source ingredients and manufacture our effervescent tabs.

Packaging and bottles: All of our packaging has been thoughtfully designed in Melbourne. The reusable glass and PET bottles are made in China. We ensure that all our manufacturers have the appropriate work, health, safety and human rights practices.

Update: We have been introduced to a WA manufacturer and are currently looking to move our production there.

Our products and packaging are made from 100% recyclable or compostable materials.

Bottles: Designed to be reuse over and over again! Given hand wash product is more stationary on countertop, we made it with 100% recyclable flint glass material. Our multi-purpose cleaner bottle is designed with portability in mind (especially given it's typically used on slippery or wet surfaces), hence made of shatterproof, BPA-free and non-leaching PET plastic (Recycle #1).

Nozzles: Made of PP - Polypropylene (Recycle #5). It's the most available and affordable material for this feature currently in the market.

Box Packaging: 100% recyclable cardboard boxes. We also use fully recyclable Kraft paper tape to pack your order! Not to mention 100% carbon neutral shipping when delivering your products.

Tablet Wrapper: Made of 100% compostable materials - 3 layers of FSC-certified wood cellulose and bio-polymers from renewable plant starch. These tablet wrappers are ASTM D6868 certified to be compostable in an industrial facility and/or home compost, as long as the right conditions are present.

See below on the conditions required for the wrappers to be home composted:

a. Oxygen (must rotate the pile frequently)

b. Moisture (this will come from the other items in the compost)

c. Micro-organisms (this will come from the other items in the compost and can be started with starter-packs of micro-organisms)

d. Heat (industrial composters reach heat of 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Most home compost doesn't reach this level of heat. We've tested in degrees of 45-50 under home compost settings and the wrappers break down within 180 days). We advise cutting them into smaller pieces so they decompose quicker!

e. Right ratio of Carbon to Nitrogen

We are aware that 100% home-compostable-only packaging would be the best option, but so far the ones we've tried wouldn't protect the moisture-sensitive refill tabs for more than 180 days pre-mix (vs. 2 years shelf life pre-mix in this industrial and/or home compostable packaging we're currently using).

To keep cost low for our customers on the refill packs, we offer an untracked Australia Post Letter option at $2.50 flat rate. The trade off is that we can’t track and once we’ve sent it, it’s in Australia Post’s hands. Most of the time they are pretty good and manage to deliver in their estimated time frames of 5 - 8 business days. Sometimes it can take up to 12 business days, so it is best to expect that and be pleasantly surprised when it arrives early 🙂 The tracked Australia Post registered mail option for refill packs would be $7.50 flat rate.

Note: Some Parcel Lockers may or may not accept refill orders sent with untracked Australia Post Letter shipping, so best to choose tracked if you’d like to send it to your parcel locker 😊
